Serving the Community I Call Home
For more than 15 years, I’ve served Texans in the courtroom as both a prosecutor and private attorney. From my early days as an Assistant District Attorney in Harris County to my time here in McLennan County as a Chief Felony Prosecutor and now in private practice, I’ve built my career on fairness, preparation, and respect for the law.
Outside the courtroom, I’ve had the privilege of serving as President of the Waco–McLennan County Bar Association and leading community boards that preserve our history and improve quality of life in Waco. Growing up as the son of a small business owner, I learned the value of hard work, accountability, and integrity — values I carry with me every day.
Now, I’m running for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1 because our community deserves a JP who is accessible, experienced, and deeply committed to serving the people. Whether resolving disputes, handling small claims, or officiating important life moments, my promise is simple: fair decisions, efficient proceedings, and a court where every person is treated with dignity.
I am an accomplished trial lawyer with over 15 years of courtroom experience and deep roots in Central Texas.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University, majoring in Political Science and Slavic & Eastern European Studies with a minor in History, before completing my Juris Doctor at New York Law School. I was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2008.
I began my legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Harris County, one of the largest prosecutor’s offices in the nation. In that role, I prosecuted dozens of jury trials, ranging from DWI and drug possession to aggravated assault and murder.
When I returned home to Central Texas, I joined the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office, where I served as Chief Felony Prosecutor of the 19th District Court and later briefly as First Assistant District Attorney. I led prosecutions in serious felony cases and supervised younger prosecutors, earning the respect of judges, defense attorneys, and law enforcement alike.
Since 2018, I have practiced at the Law Offices of Vic Feazell, P.C., where I supervise the civil litigation team and represent clients in both civil and criminal cases. My work spans personal injury, business disputes, and criminal defense, giving me a balanced perspective on the law from both sides of the courtroom.
My service extends beyond the courtroom. I currently serve as President of the Waco–McLennan County Bar Association and am a past president of the McLennan County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. I have also served as Chairman of the City of Waco Animal Welfare Board and now chair the Historic Landmark Commission for the City of Waco, working to improve quality of life and safeguard our community’s heritage. My past candidacies for McLennan County District Attorney and Mayor of Waco reflect my continued commitment to public service and community leadership.
Now, I am running for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1 because I believe this court is truly the people’s court — the place where everyday lives are most directly impacted. My promise is straightforward: to ensure fair decisions, efficient proceedings, and a court where every person is treated with dignity.
A Court for the People, A Judge with Experience.
